FangRong's Hydraulic One Die Pointing Machine is a hydraulic pointing solution for reducing and forming the ends of bars and tubes before cold drawing. The material is positioned through a guide sleeve and clamped hydraulically before entering the pointing die. With a maximum pointing range of φ0–φ400 mm, the machine is suitable for a wide range of bar and tube preparation requirements where stable clamping force and controlled forming are important.
The single-die structure keeps the pointing process straightforward while providing adjustable hydraulic pressure for different material conditions. A φ280T pointing cylinder provides the forming force, while three φ200T clamping cylinders secure the workpiece during pointing. The guide sleeve helps keep the material aligned with the die, reducing eccentric pointing and providing a more consistent transition between the original section and the reduced end.
Hydraulic clamping is particularly useful when the workpiece requires substantial holding force during reduction. Automatic lubrication supports regular operation and reduces the amount of manual intervention required for routine maintenance.
The machine has a working efficiency of approximately 4–7 pieces/min and a maximum hydraulic pressure of 25 MPa. The hydraulic system is driven by a 37 kW motor at 1460 r/min. The machine measures approximately 2600 × 1500 × 1650 mm and weighs about 4500 kg.
The pointing cylinder is rated at φ280T, with three clamping cylinders rated at φ200T. The maximum pointing diameter is φ400 mm. Actual production capacity depends on the material, starting section, required reduction and pointing length, so die and process configuration should be selected according to the finished product and subsequent drawing requirements.
The Hydraulic One Die Pointing Machine is suitable for small and medium-sized metalworking operations, as well as production lines that require an additional pointing machine for flexible capacity.
