The process starts with pointed tubes loaded onto the feed rack. The leading ends are passed through the die and gripped by the drawing carriage, which is pulled by a chain driven by a reduction gearbox and main motor. A mandrel (stationary or floating) is inserted inside each tube to support the internal diameter during reduction. The carriage travels along precision‑ground guide rails, pulling the material through the die. After the full stroke, the chain reverses to return the carriage, while the drawn tubes are discharged.
